Today, my dear friend Jacques de Chiffon from the "Jack of the Closet" Foundation visited the House of St. Lazarus. He arrived with his ward, Tomek, who will be staying at our House for some time.

Our joint actions involving people experiencing homelessness are a great idea that we want to continue. Among other things, we have opened up a volunteer opportunity for people experiencing homelessness to sort and organize clothes that the Jacek z Szafy Foundation receives for those in need. In this way, it turns out that our charges don't have to spend the whole day on the street, but have a structured day doing something GOOD for others.

Of course, during shared work, there's time for lunch, coffee, and cake. Positively engaging homeless individuals benefits everyone: the volunteers (who suddenly realize they don't have to consume alcohol) and the individuals who will receive the clothing in this situation.
