Homelessness in Poland has a face. This is the face of a man who was once a child, a son, a husband. Today he sleeps under a bridge, in a stairwell, in an abandoned bus. For him, every night is a fight for survival.

Thanks to you, this fight ends. Your donation is a warm shower after weeks on the street. It's a bed with clean sheets. It's therapy that offers a chance to overcome addiction. It's the first sober morning in years.

We don't raise money—we raise people, who believe no one deserves to be on the street. If you are here, it means you are one of them. Together we run four Saint Lazarus Houses for men and Saint Rita's Flower Corner for women. Together we accompany you from the street to home. Without you, this road doesn't exist.

Piotr's family home smelled of alcohol and the silence that followed fights. Piotr grew up invisible.

When he was fourteen, someone gave him drugs. For the first time, he felt something inside him stop hurting. He started to run away – first from home, then from himself. Drugs. Alcohol. A suicide attempt. Three years in prison.

Somewhere along the way – Magda. And a child. A little human who deserved a father.

Today Piotr lives at the House of Saint Lazarus. There's something in his eyes — the wariness of a man who has fallen too many times to believe easily. But there's also a spark. Fragile, but alive.

As he says himself: This is the first sober house in his life.
