Our charges have no money whatsoever when they are admitted to our Homes. Within 7-14 days of admission, they begin legal employment to repay their debts and contribute to the Foundation's operating costs (maintenance of the Homes: supplementing rent, utilities, and food). We must fully support our charges until their first paycheck. Therefore, we ask for your support!

Łukasz is 43 years old. As he himself told us, alcohol and drugs dragged him down to the very bottom. He lost his home, his family: his partner and daughter. He has undergone addiction treatment. He would like to rebuild his life at St. Lazarus House. He doesn't want to return to his hometown. He doesn't want to meet his drinking buddies, and he doesn't want to walk past places where he used to binge drink. His daughter is already an adult (she is 19 years old). He would like to regain contact with her. To rebuild the trust he has lost. It will be difficult. But it is not impossible.
