We're putting out a fire!

WE MUST EXTINGUISH THIS FIRE!
But today is not about the flames of fire. It is a fire of human helplessness, illness, and loneliness that we try to extinguish every day in our Homes.

A lot has happened in recent weeks. We welcomed six new people – individuals who came to us straight from the streets, homeless and without the means to live, but with the hope that they could finally start anew. At the same time, four people became independent – they started new lives. Unfortunately, three relapsed and had to leave our Home. However, we believe they will return after completing their therapy.

Today we are taking care of 37 people. We still have 14 free spots – but ALL of them are already earmarked for people who are finishing their therapies and are counting on us to take them in.

The problem is that the cost of living has increased at an alarming rate. Right now, eight people are fully supported – these are people who have just started working and haven't received their first paychecks yet, as well as those who cannot work due to health reasons. Every meal, every zloty for medication or fees – it's a huge challenge for us. Additionally, we recently had bedbugs in two of the Houses – which cost us over 12,000 PLN.
