How to Make a Will — Step by Step
Four simple steps to help you make a decision calmly and consciously.
Make an inventory of what you own
List your assets: real estate, savings, cars, insurance policies, works of art, jewelry. Also think about any liabilities (loans, borrowings).
Decide who gets what

Do I have to leave everything to the Foundation in my will?
No. You can bequeath any part of your estate to the Foundation – a specific sum of money, a percentage of the inheritance, a single item (e.g., a car, jewelry), or real estate. You can then divide the remaining estate among your loved ones as you wish.
Can I change my will after it has been made?
Yes - at any time. You just need to write a new will (it automatically invalidates the previous one) or destroy the existing one. A notary can also help revoke a notarial will.
Will my family receive anything if I leave everything to the Foundation?
Yes. Polish law protects immediate family members through the so-called. heir's forced share — is half of the share they would receive under statutory inheritance (or 2/3 for permanently disabled persons or minors). Regardless of the content of your will, they have the right to claim a mandatory share in court.
Will the Foundation pay tax on my enrollment?
