Bogusia lost her partner in a motorcycle accident. She had a breakdown then. That’s when she was admitted to the hospital. There, she found out she was pregnant, but unfortunately, she lost the baby. She couldn’t cope with her emotions. Wanting to recover, she changed everything. She went abroad to work to forget her painful past and pay off her debts. When she returned to Poland, she met a man. She trusted him. That relationship turned out to be a mistake. Her partner stole all of Bogusia’s savings. Then, a nervous breakdown returned. Finally, Bogusia was evicted. She „lived” in a vacant property for almost half a year.

Bogusia learned about our Foundation from a friend. At that time, she was living in a vacant building. Since April of this year, she has been living in Kwiatowy Zakątek Świętej Rity. She regularly sees a psychologist to cope with her painful past. As she says herself, she finds great joy in our newly established Workshop, where Bogusia pours her heart into creating beautiful soy candles.

This is a safe home for me. I want to stay here. I hope I will be able to trust someone again someday. For now, Saint Rita's Flower Corner is a place for me to learn anew. When I think about the past, I start to cry. But in this home, it's not shameful. Thank you to the Foundation for letting me be here.
