„Common Good”

About the program

The „Common Good” program is a public task in the field of social assistance, including assisting families and individuals in difficult life situations, and leveling the playing field for these families and individuals. The task is carried out within the area of City of Luboń - at the beneficiaries' places of residence, i.e. in their homes, apartments, and in the immediate surroundings of the buildings.

Target audience

The recipients of the task are individuals and families in difficult life and socio-living situations, in particular:

• Elderly, lonely, and dependent individuals
• People with disabilities
• Low-income families with many children
• Individuals temporarily unable to independently manage their household (e.g., after hospitalization, during a life crisis)

Scope of services

Apartment cleaning

Comprehensive cleaning including: vacuuming and mopping floors, dusting visible surfaces, tidying the kitchen and bathroom, washing windows, wiping doors, handles, and light switches, taking out trash, washing doors and baseboards.

Outdoor cleaning work

Sweeping the sidewalk and driveway at the building and shoveling snow in winter in front of the entrance (sidewalk and path to the door).

Light gardening work

Raking leaves, weeding, watering flowers, pruning, and simple shrub maintenance (without heavy machinery).

Minor home repairs

Replacing light bulbs, replacing door locks, assembling simple furniture (e.g., chair, table, cabinet), hanging curtain rods, and other tasks that do not require specialized qualifications or tools.
